Ian Newbury, b. 1965 I began painting watercolors while traveling around Europe in 1989. I was simply hoping to record some memories of a great trip, but in the process I found a career. In the years that have followed I have developed my craft, learning from the artists who have inspired me. For the past 15 years I�ve maintained a studio in the small town of Westerly, RI. The area is becoming recognized as an artist community.
